Week 15 is now in the books. Here are the six teams in the National Football League that delivered upsets.

Atlanta Falcons

In the Thursday night prime time matchup, the Atlanta Falcons upset the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by a score of 29-28. With the win, the Falcons improved to a record of five wins and nine losses, and the Buccaneers dropped to a record of seven wins and seven losses. Atlanta entered the game as a six point underdog and won by a single point.

The most notable Falcon was tight end Kyle Pitts Sr. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In one of the greatest single game performances by a tight end, Pitts Sr. had 11 catches for 166 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Washington Commanders

The Commanders beat the New York Giants 29-21 as the 2.5 point underdog. The Commanders dominated the Giants 19-7 in the second quarter. Washington’s most electric play in the second stanza was a 63 yard punt return for a touchdown by rookie Jaylin Lane of Spartanburg County, South Carolina.

Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers knocked out the Kansas City Chiefs from the postseason with a 16-13 win as a 4.5 point underdog. Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker of Hong Kong made three field goals for the Chargers. With the win, the Chargers improved to a record of 10 wins and four losses.

New Orleans Saints

The Saints beat the Carolina Panthers 20-17 as a 2.5 point underdog. The Saints won the game thanks to a game-winning 47 yard field goal by rookie kicker Charlie Smyth of Newly, Northern Ireland with two seconds left. It was also a strong game for Saints rookie kicker Tyler Shough of Chandler, Arizona, who had 272 yards passing.

Denver Broncos

The Broncos beat the Green Bay Packers 34-26 as a 1.5 point underdog. With the win, they improved to a record of 12 wins and two losses and are the best team in the NFL. It was a actually surprising that the Broncos were the underdog when they have had a great season. Broncos quarterback Bo Nix of Arkadelphia, Arkansas had 302 yards passing and four touchdowns. Meanwhile, Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton of Brenham, Texas had 113 yards receiving and one touchdown.

Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings improved to 6-8 with a 34-26 win over the Dallas Cowboys as a 5.5 point underdog. Minnesota was led by quarterback J.J. McCarthy of Evanston, Illinois, who had 250 yards passing.
