Leigh Torrence has re-signed with the Saints, per the Saints’ official twitter account. This is just as I predicted, as this is the time of year where the musical chairs roster switches continue. Nick Leckey and Chase Daniel were both victim of this on many occassions last year, going from released to re-signed on a weekly basis. Still, it’s nice to see the veteran back. Linebacker KC Asiodu was let go, but he could easily come back as some point as well.
It was also announced that guard Jacob Bender and fullback Jed Collins were signed to the practice squad at the expense of guard Brandon Carter and fullback Matt Clapp. Likely just a case of upgrades there.
