He’s not too sympathetic w/players
While I don’t have a clue about which faction I side with in terms of the owners or players, I will repeat my lack of sympathy for the players if they cry about having two extra regular-season games. If the preseason games are going to be bench-sitting fests for the starters, then let’s play a couple more for real. The Colts have blown off preseason games for a long time. And it’s deteriorated to the point where the most you get out of Manning is a half in the third game. Fans shouldn’t have to pay full price to watch what they have been served in preseason in recent years. I’ve been on record on that one, too. I’ve always tried to be more of a fan advocate than anything. Will be, more so, if these knuckleheads have a lockout and can’t resolve their differences to keep the NFL going in 2011.
