Read the papers. We are on the cusp of NFL labor Armageddon. We know the lockout will get settled eventually, but when? Will we have an entire season (unlikely)? Will we have a compressed season (probably)? Will we lose the Super Bowl, our Super Bowl (highly doubtful, but baseball and hockey drop-kicked their postseasons because of labor issues)?
If Indianapolis had gotten this 2011 game, we wouldn’t be sitting on pins and needles and hanging on every word from commissioner Roger Goodell and union chief DeMaurice Smith.
