And without question, the Colts still miss Clark.
But while Tamme is not the dynamic, down-field presence that Clark gives the offense, in three games as a starter, he has proven himself to be a reliable, productive player. He has shown a knack for securing first downs in key situations, and his ability to get seven or eight yards on 3rd-and-6 and 7 has helped the Colts change field position in some critical situations in recent weeks.
The Colts have won two of three games since Clark was lost for the season.
If not for Tamme, it’s hard to see that happening.
