So very very sad

Tip to Shake.  This site defies belief

Surprisingly enough, I didn’t decide to create, maintain, and develop this site because I’m a Tim Tebow lover, a huge Florida homer, or a Jag fan.  I did it, and do it, because I love this city.

I moved to Jacksonville with my family in the summer of 2003, and only then did I realize just how fabulous Jacksonville was, and still is.  Our city is beautiful, the beaches are amazing, and the people are incredibly kind, considerate, and welcoming.  It didn’t take us long to realize that J-ville was the best kept secret in the south.

Now, 6+ years later, I’ve made a home here.  I’ve grown to understand what makes and keeps Jacksonville running, and I’ve also seen how important the Jags are to it’s continued success and growth.  But fan attendance is the worst in the league, advertising sales are down, blackouts are a given, and the talk of relocation continually swirls.

I don’t want to see the Jags leave this city. I don’t want to consider what would happen to Jacksonville if the team did disappear.  So, instead of sitting on my butt and crying about it, I decided to act.

I’m no football expert; I can’t with any certainty predict Tebow’s impact on the team, but I CAN predict that putting him in a teal jersey would sell tickets, lift blackouts, and thrust the Jags back into the national spotlight where they belong.
