One is old school. The other is just old
Peyton Manning is obviously a guy who’s very careful about his public image. And unless you live east or north of Hartford, CT (a.k.a. Brady country – where they hate “Seyton” Manning), you probably don’t have too many negative feelings toward him.
Like many people, I respect Manning’s approach more than I do Favre’s. But he could very easily have taken Favre’s tack. He could have said “No.” Do you think Caldwell would have fought that battle? I have a very strong feeling that Manning did care about 16-0.….he was just too respectful of his coach (and his image) to play the diva and refuse to come out.
