Jim Irsay told me a great story at the Super Bowl. When asked about his philosophy and how he has a brilliant GM in Bill Polian and head coach in Jim Caldwell (pictured, left) — and previously in Tony Dungy — with such different personalities, Irsay said: “I wanted my franchise to be a mirror image of the Giants with the Maras, Bill Parcells and George Young. Debate and dialogue is crucial.” Great point. Having a living legend at QB (Peyton Manning, pictured, right) doesn’t hurt, either.
