CHFF says Polian whips the Haters

Good recap from Cold Hard Football Facts

1. Peyton Manning continues toward the inevitable role as the greatest QB of all time. No, we don’t think he was MVP this year, but he was definitely valuable with a capital V. You can certainly argue he’s the best regular-season QB of all time – no one has been as consistently great – and after 16 playoff games his postseason career is at least not the absolute mess it used to be. He’s 8-8 with an 85.2 rating now – just 0.3 points behind Tom Brady’s postseason career 85.5. It was not Manning’s best effort Saturday night: his 44 attempts resulted in just 246 yards (a meager 5.6 YPA). But he was brilliant when he had to be: a pair of TD passes to Austin Collie and Reggie Wayne in the final 126 seconds of the first half broke open a 3-3 game and pretty much put it away at intermission.
