Manning also has one Super Bowl ring to his credit despite all his regular-season achievements. That is the same championship total as Minnesota quarterback and fellow three-time MVP Brett Favre. Jim Brown and Johnny Unitas are the other three-time MVP winners since the award was instituted in 1957.
Those two players are in the Hall of Fame. Favre and Manning will receive induction someday, too. But unlike with the 39-year-old Favre, Manning may actually be getting better at this point in his career.
