Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump.
"I try not to think about it, but God does everything for a reason and God shows people why he does everything for a reason," Perkins said. "At the end of the day I've been talking to KG a lot, I've been talking to Rondo a lot and I've been talking to [Celtics coach] Doc [Rivers] a lot.
"They wish the best for me and I wish the best for them. They just keep sending me text messages here and there telling me what I need to do, telling me how I need to lead this young team."

That's a testament to how close this team was. These guys are still watching Perk and still keeping in touch to coach him through the series and make sure he's helping his team win.
Nice to see Perk doing well… and glad to hear that the former teammates and his former coach are still in touch. They called him a member of the family and they meant it. Personally… I'm pulling for OKC. And really… anyone but Miami. Screw LeBron.
On Page 2, Looking ahead to the draft
"We just need to get more talent," said Danny Ainge, Boston's president of basketball operations.
Because the Celtics have so many holes to fill on their roster, there's no need to be as position-specific as some other teams.
That's why despite having the No. 25 pick and the No. 55 pick in the second round, the C's can legitimately take the best player available who fits their needs which consists of, in part, players who have the ability to run the floor and bring an improved level of athleticism to the C's roster.
We'll spend this week examining some of the top draft prospects in next month's NBA draft.
Today we'll take a look at some of the top point guard/combo guard prospects, including those in Bold that might be available for the Celtics when they're on the clock

Sherrod goes on to list the players and their anticipated draft positions. I'm not even really interested in this particular group because the C's are pretty set at the PG position right now… especially if Delonte comes back. I like Avery Bradley and I want to see what he can do.
Then again, we always like the guys we have. I wanted to see what Gerald Green could do at one point too. Of the group in this list, I'd lean towards Darius Morris of Michigan because (a) he's more of a pure PG and (b) he's 6'4"… and I'm sick of having tiny little guards out there. Some size would be nice.
But I'm betting Danny goes with a forward late in the draft… so I'm not going to get too much into this group.
