Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump.
Losing assistant coaches — Lawrence Frank is almost certainly gone this summer — is promoted by good head coaches. Losing players is a great way to start losing games.
“Well, I hope that doesn’t carry on too much,” Rivers said of other teams benefiting from talent he developed. “We don’t want to develop a habit of it.”

In Mark Murphy's entertaining (yet dated, I don't believe any of those quotes are new) column on the differences between Tony Allen and Kendrick Perkins, he predicts Lawrence Frank – the Celtics top defensive assistant coach – will be with another team next season.
In addition to being a candidate in Houston, Yahoo! reports that Frank interviewed for the Warriors job. But he doesn't appear to be a lock for either position, as he's competing with Kevin McHale and former LeBron bag handler Cavs head coach Mike Brown.
Frank's departure won't have a dramatic impact on next season, but I'd prefer he stick around for the sake of continuity.
