So now the Boston Red Sox and their fans are the targets of hatred throughout the blogosphere. We have seen the countless articles about how annoying we now are when we used to be lovable. Seems kind of strange when the Red Sox fans I know are the same as they were in 2003.
They hate our traditions
They hate Papelbon
The Red Sox Players are compared to Bond Villans.
Some Giants fans might root for the Dodgers over the Red Sox if they met in the Series!
and even I get some of the hate.
What does all of this hatred mean to me? It means we must be doing something right; nobody hates Seattle Mariner fans, nobody hates Cincinnati Reds fans. I say keep writing the articles scorning us and just send the 2008 World Series trophy along with the harsh words.
