What does a retired Major Leaguer pitcher do to stay relevant? Bash Alex Rodriguez, of course!
And while I usually hate attempts to be relevant, I’m a big fan of what former star pitcher Roy Halladay has been up to.
I always thought it was a shame how Halladay went out; as a Boston Red Sox fan, he was my least favorite pitcher to face and as a result, the Toronto Blue Jays still make me cringe a bit–after all the guy was a straight BEAST. Up until he hit 34 he could still rattle off 15-20 wins with a sub-3.00 ERA but then injuries and age set in, and the former ace left the bigs after tossing just 62 innings in 2013.
Womp, womp.
Now Halladay is back in action, apparently tossing batting practice to a lucky fan while making a jab at everyone’s least favorite roid-head.
Just see his tweet for yourself:
I recorded my first strike out since retirement! Time for a comeback? She has a better swing then Arod! No steroids pic.twitter.com/98ytAyTUy0

It gets better though. Obviously, some of the most despicable scum of humanity who supports “A-Roid” decided to come to his defense and b*tch and moan to Halladay, so he rattled off another tweet:
Than… Sorry grammar was never my strength! Haha.. So a handful of Arod fans said he hit 308 off me. Curious what my record is vs his team

For those who don’t know, Halladay OWNED the Rodriguez’s current team, the New York Yankees, with an 18-7 record with a tidy 2.98 ERA. Damn Yankee fans, you want some ice for that nasty burn?
There are a few things I enjoy in life and this is one of them. Roy, I hated you when you faced the Sox, but now I kinda like you.
So there you go.
