After scoring 38 points in a dominating win against Denmark, Richards followed it with a 18 point, four rebound outing in game one against Belgium.
Although Richards bounced back with 25 points (10/21 from the field), eight rebounds, three assists and one steal in the second game, it wasn’t enough, as Great Britain added a second loss to their record in a 85-74 loss.
Richards and the GB U20 team will play Portugal this Thursday, July 14. After that they will play a series of playoff games to decide final positioning in the European Championship in Bosnia.
We’ll continue to update Richards’ progress here on Project Spurs. Check back on Friday for a quick recap of his performance against Portugal.
