Last week, a gentleman named Brian posted on the RedsArmy Facebook page. He mentioned how big a Celtics fan he was, and how his nephew, also a big C's fan/RedsArmy reader, had just received an award. Brian's nephew, Joseph Settineri, was awarded the "Sportsman of the Year" award by the Salem, New Hampshire youth basketball league. Joseph received the award for service to his New Hampshire community, sportsmanship, contributions to his team, and for what his Uncle Brian called "just being an all-around good person."

Joseph will be going to his first Celtics game of the season on March 23rd. Rajon Rondo, Joe's favorite player, and the rest of the C's will be taking on the Grizzlies. So when you walk into the TD Garden that evening Joseph, be sure and look at all those white banners hanging in the rafters. That's what being a team player gets you. Those 17 titles come from each team member contributing what they can individually. Congratulations on your award Joseph, and I hope the Celtics bring you a win on the 23rd.
