The Red Sox have traded a PTBNL to the Rockies for lefty reliever Frankin Morales. To make room for him Hideki Okajima has been designated for assignment. Theo Epstein said the Red Sox will be looking to trade Hideki Okajima.
Morales had an ERA of 3.86 in 14 appearances with the Rockies this season.
