Jon Lester continued the best April of his career with a win last night against the Angels. He pitched six scoreless innings and gave up just four hits, he left the game with a four run lead. Albers and Jenks let the Angels back into the game giving up one run is the seventh and two in the eighth. Papelbon stopped the bleeding in the ninth and earned his fifth save of the year.
Lowrie had another hit in the game and J.D. Drew drove in a run on a pair of hits. Adrian Gonzalez had an off night going 0-5 and Crawford continued to struggle at the plate going 0-4.
