The Red Sox have signed relief pitcher Brian Shouse to a minor league deal with an invitation to spring training. Shouse has a career ERA of 3.72 and pitched in 45 games for the Rays last season with mixed results. In a very small sample size his numbers at Fenway are frightening: .2 innings pitched with an ERA of 27.00.
