The Red Sox canceled what was to be their last exhibition game before the regular season. The game was supposed to take place on March 31 in Houston against the Astros but it would have violated MLB rules because the regular season would have already begun for other teams. March 31st will now be an off day for the Sox as they head to Arlington for their opening day on April 1.
