The Celtics 4th quarter defense carried them to a victory over the scrappy Sacramento Kings.
It wasn't the prettiest victory, but style points are not necessary in the final game of a West coast road trip.
Big props to Nate Robinson (4 points, 4 rebounds, 5 steals) for his hustle and defense in the final quarter. He came up with several loose balls that led to Celtics baskets. The Celtics held the Kings to 36 points in the 2nd half.
Ray Allen led the offense with 22 points (4-7 3 FG). He's nine three-pointers away from the all-time record. Rondo also played with a lot of energy – 17 points, 10 assists.
Kevin Garnett (12 points, 7 rebounds, 2 blocks) always brings the intensity, but tonight he brought a double dose. He was battling with DeMarcus Cousins and Samuel Dalembert all night, hitting the floor routinely and playing like this was a Game 7.
Cousins (20 points, 6 rebounds) is a punk. A talented punk who I'd love to have play for the Celtics.
