“We’ll have to see how things go along,” coach Jim Caldwell said of Powers’ status as the Colts (15-2) prepared to play the New York Jets (11-7) in the AFC Championship Game at Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indianapolis Sunday at 3 p.m.
If Powers doesn’t play, Caldwell said rookie CB Jacob Lacey will start with CB Tim Jennings also rotating in. Lacey started nine games this season, including the final three at right CB in place of Powers.
