If there’s any doubt as to whether or not Pablo Sandoval is going to be a fan favorite in Boston…your questions have been answered.
First, some backstory.
Earlier this week, after BeanTown was buried under more than two feet of snow(!), someone went out of their way Tuesday to clear off the finish line of the Boston Marathon. How cool is that?
Answer…so cool the Boston Police hit the Twitters wondering who it was.

The culprit (if you will) was identified as Chris Laudani, a five-time veteran of the marathon, who just so happens to work as a bartender less than two blocks from the finish line.
“It is really cool to see the message I wanted to send to a handful of people that happened to be walking by reached thousands of people,” the 25-year-old said on Facebook. “It is truly an honor to be a part of this, but do remember this has nothing to do with me. I am a small part in a giant, constantly spinning cog that makes this city and our marathon so great.”
And then Sandoval stepped in.

It remains to be seen as to whether or not Laudani will take the newly acquired Sandoval up on his offer to check out the Red Sox take on the Washington Nationals on Opening Day, but if he does…you’ve gotta think you’ll be hearing this story again.
A pretty cool gesture from a guy who is new to the city and, up until recently, had never even seen snow. Yeah, Panda’s gonna do alright in Boston.
