Other ways your goal may be disallowed

By now, we all know that Andrew Shaw’s header into the goal is against the rules. It’s definitely against the rules, even though nobody actually knew it until the referees enforced it. EJ Hradek helpfully tweeted the specific rule last night.

So, yeah, headbutting a puck into the net qualifies as “directed” by something other than a stick. It’s just not something that comes up often. If something like this came up, what are some other unforeseen circumstances that would lead to disallowed goals?
-Referee kicking puck into the net
-Pelvic thrusting a puck into the net
-Bicycle kicking a puck into the net
-Player using referee as a stick to hit puck into net
-Player tickling goaltender, then scoring while goaltender is having a giggle fit
-Mike Babcock running on to the ice to kick, throw, otherwise direct or just even shoot the puck into the net. This is important to note, Toronto. Mike Babcock is ineligible to score your team any goals
-Scoring while the ice girls are on the ice

Hopefully, this prevents confusion the next time something like this happens.
