It’s the words we’ve all been waiting on. With magical timing Harry Potter would be jealous of, the Owners and Players reps have all but agreed on all the major hurdles towards sealing a deal.
Right of First Refusal is now dead, the owners have given it up, and both sides have agreed to a rookie wage scale. The pace is so quick, there is almost nothing that would stop a deal being signed and the lockout officially ending sometime next week.
Whether or not that saves the Hall of Fame game remains to be seen, but that is a small price to pay for every preseason game, every regular season game, and FOOTBALL TALK next week!
