Okay, okay, so perhaps “giving the thing away “is a bit of a stretch, but, still…that’s nearly a quarter off the already bloated prices.
Somewhere, someone is probably thinking this is just baseball’s ploy to make the former New York Yankees captain’s jersey a top seller even though he hung his cleats up following the 2014 season.
A smarter, wiser man knows that even though dude pushed a ton of merch in his final year in the Bronx, there’s likely to still be warehouses full of the stuff.
