The Red Sox have made the decision to send Will Middlebrooks down to AAA Pawtucket today. Middlebrooks hasn't seen regular time in the Sox lineup lately due to the surge of Jose Iglesias. Middlebrooks is expected to play everyday down in Pawtucket and hopefully get himself back to the guy we saw at the plate last year. Brandon Snyder's contract was bought and he was brought up to be on the bench with the Sox.
In order to get Snyder on the 40 man roster David Ross was moved from the 15 Day DL to the 60 Day DL. That tells you something all in itself about the severity of his concussion and how we clearly won't be seeing him anytime soon.
