I think I’m finally getting to the point where I can’t tell if this is one of the coolest things out there or, well…the complete opposite of cool.
Ever since Laurence Leavy (aka “Marlins Man”) infiltrated our television screens during last year’s World Series, he’s, seemingly, made it his point to soak up every millisecond of his fifteen minutes of fame. From NBA games to the Kentucky Derby, the Fort Lauderdale lawyer has shown the world that he’s not just about baseball, even though he’s yet to miss a televised ESPN Sunday night baseball game.
Friday night, decked out in his trademark orange Miami Marlins gear, Leavy was at it again, front and center at Yankees Stadium sitting next to, of all people, the King of New York…America’s former Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
Hold on, “Marlins Man” was sitting with Rudy Giuliani? How’d that happen?!?
Simple.
“I was there first,” Leavy told The Hall, “he showed up seventh inning.”
Alright, I’ve convinced myself, following Leavy on social media is a nice little outlet. It’s fun to see (and guess) where he might end up next. Oh, and I just might want to join him on one of his adventures.
