Dear Bills,
I won’t hesitate to ask you WHAT THE HELL WAS UP WITH THAT LAST NIGHT AGAINST THE LIONS?! That felt good to get out early in the entry. Not only is there a strong lack of the word and usage of ‘offense’ in your game plan, but everything past the first string of players looks like a whole lot of awful to me. It’s sad how I think we’re going to have to make sure that no one on this team gets hurt because we’re going to be screwed otherwise. I know I mentioned that in my last entry too but seeing how you guys played without most of the first string players…yikes all around. Final cuts are coming up too so this should be interesting to me. Is it possible to blow up the team and start over? Oh, it’s not? That sucks.
Update on Shelby’s search for her favorite Bill: It sure as hell isn’t going to be Tyler Thigpen. I have so much rage for that dude already and it’s still only the preseason. Is this guy really fighting for a #1 spot on this team as Quarterback? I hope bad, bad Levi Brown gets the #2 spot instead. I pretty much see Ryan Fitzpatrick as the #1 and have seen it as such since Trent was traded last year. It hurts to watch this guy throw a ball. I think yesterday he just threw it away more times than him trying to get the ball down the field. I think I heard a chorus of groaning late in the game when he was sacked at one point. Sorry buddy, you just are not doing it for me.
This offense thing isn’t going to get easier in the regular season. It’s really sad that you guys can’t even get 10 points in a preseason game. That Jaguars game was really special in that you scored a lot of points AND managed to win in overtime. I’m hoping for a miracle that you can figure out your crap by the time the regular season fires up. The road to 9-7, right? Better start with something small, if anything. Just win the first game somehow. It’s time that I need to start Billieving in this team – at least until the Sabres start up in a few weeks.
