Just How Bad Has Lackey Been?

Here is the only stat you need to know:  With Runners in scoring position and two outs, opposing batters are hitting .355 against Lackey.  His ERA in that situation is 22.95 with a WHIP of 2.85.   I think the Washington Post wrote what most Sox fans are thinking right now:

“the team still has about 3.8 years and roughly $57 million left of its commitment to veteran right-hander John Lackey.  There is almost nothing that can change that calculus. He is untradeable. The Red Sox are stuck with him.”
