Jeremy Guthrie loves his Chipotle.
The Kansas City Royals righty recently sat down with Jay Mohr and when the subject of pre-game superstitions came up, this.
“People always ask ‘what do you do that’s superstitious?’ I have to have Chipotle before every game I pitch. So, 32 times this year,” Guthrie told the host of Mohr Stories. “I would own one in a heartbeat. I need to get one of those things…I wonder if I could buy one.”
Oh, and don’t think the pitcher just wants to own the joint…he wants you to profit as well.
“If I see someone in a Chipotle and they say ‘I need the Jeremy Guthrie’…it’s done,” Guthrie added. “Anyone who asks for that, I’m buying their Chipotle.”
