And now it’s been made official: Jim Edmonds is going to be on The Real Housewives of Orange County.
The Bravo production will debut on June 8th and feature Jim and his wife Meghan Edmonds (formerly King). The focus, though, will be on Mrs. Edmonds, as she will be one of the 5 main cast members.
Real Housewives of Orange County is a ratings powerhouse for Bravo.
The ’14 RHOC season finale drew 2.027M viewers. And late in the ’14 season, the Real Houswives of Atlanta premiered to 3.8M viewers, Bravo’s biggest premiere ever in its more than 30 year history.
The net net?
Many more people will know Jim Edmonds as a doting husband to Meghan than an all time great Cardinals player. Get used to that, people. It’s going to be weird.
Bravo’s Andy Cohen (host of Watch What Happens Live) is an avid Cardinals fan and one of the producers of the Real Housewives franchise, so expect the Edmonds’ to appear on the late night talker as well.
