The Red Sox are now have another injured player. Marco Scutaro is experiencing shoulder pain and could end up on the DL:
“I don’t know how it started,” Scutaro noted after the Red Sox’ 16-2 loss to the Blue Jays Friday night at Fenway Park. “But I have hard time reaching back on throws.”
It is possible that Scutaro plays through the pain but that could risk long term damage. Get ready to see a middle infield consisting of Hall, Lowrie, and Navarro.
