Cannonfest is Coming – How to Make The Most of It

It’s August and that means it’s the month of CANNONFEST!

This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever and we have some great things to tell you about!

Our friends over at Full Mental Jackets have already announced the inaugural #CBJIVID contest spectacular. So be sure to check that out!

But there’s even more to share this year.

First the basics! Remember, this year’s event is MOVING – we are still proud to call BWW’s home come August 18th, but we’ll be at the Bethel Road location this year from 1-4 pm. For full details on time and location, be sure to check out the Facebook Page – and RSVP! Be sure to tell your friends and bring your family – there’s going to be something for everyong.

In addition to the camaraderie with Blue Jackets fans we’ve come to expect, we’ll have appearances from the following:

• Arch City Army
• DKM Podcast

As important, one thing we’ve always been particularly proud of is the Blue Jackets fan community’s ability to give back to local charities and to hockey. This year will be no different.

We’re thrilled to announce that in support of the Blue Jackets Foundation, the Jacket Backers will again be running their CBJ raffle and a 50/50 raffle. Tickets for the CBJ raffle will be 1 for $2, 2 for $5, 8 for $10, 20 for $20.

• A Ryan Johansen signed CBJ Pennant
• A 2013 Blue Jackets Team Signed Hockey stick

In addition, we’re proud to partner this year with the Sedona Grace Foundation. This is a great organization, founded and run by Blue Jackets fans that provides dog food, treats, and AKA Canine Care Packages to families in need throughout central Ohio food pantries. Their focus is to allow families to maintain relationships with their pets, even in times of need.

Come August 18th, if you bring a donation of dry dog or cat food (ideally of 4.5 pounds or more and not ‘store brand’), you will receive a coupon that you can use at Cannonfest for food and drink from BWW’s.

We are also excited to have appearances by Tilly Hockey with some items for sale and some special video surprises in store.

So bring some dog or cat food, some money for raffles, submit your videos and dress up in your best Blue Jackets gear, because Cannonfest IS COMING!
