The off-season is long and boring. We need something to pass the time and the Buckeye State Hockey mailbag is a fun place to do it. Most of these aren’t hockey related, hopefully in the weeks ahead they get more hockey-centric. For now, let’s do this thing.

Taco Tuesday is without a doubt the answer here. I have never regretted my decision after a Taco Tuesday. I definitely have regretted Margarita Monday. Easy decision.

I am sure everyone is going to answer that the Undertaker would be a truck driver but don’t be silly, he would build choppers. If he stayed in his hometown of Houston, he could work at any of the three chopper shops around town. He also could wear a bandanna without being criticized. I hope I get to ask him this question someday.

Finally, a hockey question. I am surprised at Hartnell still being on the team, he seemed like a likely candidate for a trade, as his no-move clause is going to hamper him as the expansion draft looms large. I don’t see them making a late off-season trade for him, even though they will try mightily. He will start the year with the team and hopefully get some points on the board. The only way he gets traded at a fair price, is if he plays out of his mind – which he has shown to do. Otherwise, an aging veteran like him doesn’t carry much value.
