Brock Osweiler is undefeated as the starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos, playing for an injured Peyton Manning.
If Denver wants a real shot at going back to the Super Bowl, Osweiler should remain the starter the rest of the season.
Study the past- Colin Kaepernick, Tony Romo, and the man who Brock helped beat on Sunday, Tom Brady, all came out of nowhere during the season to help make a strong late push into the playoffs, and with the exception of Romo, both Kap and Brady took their teams to the Super Bowl.
Osweiler is the future in Denver, finally, after sitting on the bench for almost four long seasons- it’s his time to shine, and he’s done the most with his opportunity.
At this point in time, he offers Denver something Peyton doesn’t, an added physical dimension, like a bigger arm, durability, and above all, mobility.
He’s the man right now for the Broncos, and he should remain the starter the rest of the season. Denver must ride the hot hand the way Dallas, San Francisco, and New England did all those years ago.
