After the Blues’ horrible performance in Game 3 against the Wild, you’d imagine the team would have a lot to work on in practice today. At the very least, practice would prove to be an opportunity to get everyone back on the same page out on the ice.
Apparently Ken Hitchcock has a different strategy when it comes to turning this ship around:
#stlblues holding an optional practice today. Goc and Jaskin are only two players here who played last night. They are on ice with scratches

Two out of the three games against the Wild in this series have been awful. No one was expecting a bag skate or some kind of torturous practice, but an optional skate? Kind of surprising.
It’s also interesting which two players chose to attend the optional skate: Goc and Jaskin. No sign of the team’s leadership following a humiliating defeat.
