Just one day after the report surfaced that Doug Armstrong was heavily scouting the New Jersey Devils and the Phoenix Coyotes, we have this new report that Armstrong is watching the Calgary Flames and the New York Rangers. The Blues also have a scout in attendance.

As the post yesterday discussed, the Blues will have scouts all over the NHL as the trade deadline approaches. That’s not noteworthy. Doug Armstrong attending is noteworthy and indicates that there are at least a few players the Blues are keeping close tabs on.
