Once the Stanley Cup Final concludes and a new champion raises the Stanley Cup, the league’s summer officially kicks off with the NHL Awards. This year’s ceremony will take place at the Encore at the Wynn Las Vegas on June 24th. The production value, hosts, and musical guests have been the subject of a lot of talk over the years. Be that as it may, the awards remain a great way to recognize outstanding individual efforts from the season.
This year the Lightning have several members or the organization who have the chance to bring home some hardware. Ondrej Palat and Tyler Johnson are nominated for the Calder Trophy. Ben Bishop is among great company for the Vezina Trophy. Tampa Bay’s head coach Jon Cooper is a finalist for the Jack Adams Award.
