“Griller Park” is Awesome

It’s an idea so simple, so ingenious…that I can’t believe it took this long for someone to come up with it.

Meet “Griller Park”. Yes, I know it’s an inanimate object (more specifically…it’s a charcoal grill designed to look like Miller Park, the home of the Milwaukee Brewers), but it deserved your utmost attention.

The grill’s designer? 27-year-old Matt Tyler, an engineer from suburban Milwaukee and he didn’t just design the thing on a whim…he’s had the idea for years. And to his credit, Tyler didn’t just take a logo and slap it on a Weber…dude went all out and designed a scaled-down replica of the tailgating mecca.

Why did he do it?

“I guess mostly ’cause I could,” Tyler told WISN.

Oh, the best part…the thing only cost Tyler around $200 to build. Now, I don’t want to tell Tyler how to conduct his business, but if he hasn’t already patented “Griller Park” and gotten a Kickstarter together to mass produce more…homeboy is missing the boat!

“I’m starting to think about Lambeau Field,” he said of his next project. “We’ll see. One step at a time.”

Of course he is.

The 100-pound grill made its debut Saturday when the Brewers took on the Arizona Diamondbacks.
