Tuesday night, Archie Bradley took a Carlos Gonzalez line drive off the right side of his face and tweeted out a picture of the swollen aftermath.
Friday, the Arizona Diamondbacks rookie pitcher was all smiles as he spent some time (and shared a selfie) with a patient named Nick at Phoenix Children’s Hospital who also took a liner to the face.

Arizona placed Bradley on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday with a small sinus fracture. They hope the 22-year-old righty will be able to return to the rotation as soon as he is eligible.
