The St. Louis Blues are throwing it back for the 2017 Winter Classic set to be played at Busch Stadium on January 2nd, 2017 against the Chicago Blackhawks. The team unveiled the official logo they’ll use for the Classic and it’s a great tribute to the past.

If you’re not familiar with the logo above, it’s rendition of the original note created for the Blues which was dated between 1967 and 1968.

A ton of Winter Classic merchandise has been released, but we’ll have to wait and see what the team and league comes up with in terms of jerseys. If this is the logo, they should be winners.
