It's so cute how the NBA continues to do business just in case the lockout ends in time for this stuff to actually happen. Today the Celtics (and the rest of the NBA) released their preseason schedule, which only serves to tease us with the vague possibility that these games will actually occur. However, the lockout is now 49 days old and both sides have met once, and that once was a farce of a meeting.
So it may be more appropriate to mention these dates and locations as times where the arenas in question SHOULD be in use, but won't be… causing the people who rely on working those games for the money necessary to pay bills and buy food to go without. On these dates below, the concession workers, parking attendants, janitorial staff and small business owners around the arenas will look at an empty building while the billionaires and the mega-millionaires cry foul over how to properly divide their four billion dollars in annual revenue.
