What more fitting way to end the 1st season of "FanFriday" then with a true OG. Scott S has been a Boston Celtics fan all his life. Born and raised on the South Shore of Boston, his Dad's company had season-tickets in the first-row behind the C's bench, so Scott has seen it all. When his Dad retired, Scott continued to buy random tickets to C's games. Then, in 2006, despite the fact that the team was really struggling, Scott and his Dad purchased their own season ducats.

I was amazed, and a bit jealous, of the collection of great Celtics memorabilia that Scott has. Everything from Rondo's signed Nike Hyperfuses to Paul Pierce's autographed jersey, and, the GrandDaddy of them all, an autographed piece of the original parquet floor, signed by the original "Big 3". Incredible.
It was truly a pleasure to meet Scott this past season. You see, Scott has to go through quite a bit to get to a Celtics game. Maneuvering his wheelchair through large, often rowdy crowds to get to his section is an every game thing. But Scott is there for most every home game. On the one night that he couldn't get to the Garden, he offered his seats to me, which I in turn was able to give to a fan that normally could not have afforded to go. Just a truly selfless, dedicated and loyal guy. You can follow Scott on Twitter, and catch him up on the Sportsdeck at Celtics home games. Thanks again Scott.
I really want to thank all of the great fans that let me feature them on this, the inaugural year of "FanFriday". I look forward to meeting more and more of you, and I'm truly grateful to be a part of CelticNation. Thank you all for reading and FanFriday will return in Oct.of 2012. –KWAPT
