Terry Francona reported that Daisuke Matsuzaka was sent for an MRI on his elbow today and it probably seems like he is heading for a stint on the DL. Dice-K had two stellar outings and then was pulled early from an outing against the Mariners with elbow tightness and just hasn’t been the same since. Last night he was obviously off and in the post game press conference, Tito remarked that he seemed afraid to throw his fastball and wasn’t fully extending…and that he just looked “off.”
I do wonder if any other Pawtucket pitchers are trolling around the clubhouse claiming to only be there to pick something up???
