We’ve all been waiting for this announcement…and it is finally here. Adrian Gonzalez and the Red Sox have agreed to a contract extension. It is a 7 year, $154 million dollar contract. The story was first reported by Sean McAdam over at csnne.com. The deal includes a 6 million dollar signing bonus…and there are no option years.
Just as we thought….we’ll be seeing Gonzo in a Sox uniform for a long long time to come!
