The Red Sox will be in San Francisco by the end of the week to take on the San Francisco Giants. If you are going to be in town, there are a couple of great events on Saturday before and after the Sox game.
Pre Game: The Bay Area Red Sox Nation (BARSN) Meetup Group is co-hosting pre-game festivities with RSN CA Gov Karen Doherty. We’ve booked the Cooperstown Room (downstairs) at Pete’s Tavern from 1-4 pm. Pete’s Tavern is across the street and within shouting distance of AT&T Park.
All Red Sox fans are welcome, whether you’ve got tix to the game or not! We’ll have Sam Adams for $3, a drink special only available to Red Sox Nation in our party room! We’ll have our favorite Red Sox songs playing on the sound system! We’ll have a trivia game to test your Red Sox Nation worthiness! We’ll have awesome giveaways! And we’ll have raffle prize drawings every 30 mins!
Post Game: Rock & Sox Benefit for the Jimmy Fund at the Connecticut Yankee. The event gets started at 9 pm with music begining at 10 pm. Join some of the Bay Area’s finest musicians for a musical journey from Boston to San Francisco. Great prizes and fun as we support the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
