As I was driving home from Fenway yesterday….you know…after that game chuck full of rain and awesomeness….I was listening to the radio on WEEI.
Most callers were calling in to talk about Daniel Nava and his amazing first pitch Grand Slam at bat. Myself included….I called in to talk about seeing the grand slam and that I also watched Nava hit in a PawSox game that was televised on MLBN last week….and…because I can’t help myself I gave props to JD Drew.
WEEI ended up telling a story about Nava that I hadn’t heard before and thought was really interesting. Nava is a pretty big fan of ESPN’s Erin Andrews and he has left a ticket for her at every single game he has played in…no matter the team…or the level. Erin Andrews has never shown up to claim her ticket. FOX Sports heard about Nava and him leaving a ticket for Andrews so they made contact with her. Well…guess who is coming to Fenway Park today to meet Daniel Nava? Yep, Erin Andrews.
That’s just awesome. Daniel Nava…you win at life.
