Dustin Pedroia is in his hometown of Woodland, California for a fundraiser to support his old baseball field. He will speak tonight at the sold out event and try to inspire kids to follow their dreams:
“My biggest thing is to give everybody in Woodland the chance to succeed at their sport,” Pedroia said. “I want them to have the best playing field available — everything I didn’t have. We want to keep up the field and hopefully everyone that plays baseball in Woodland wants to play at Clark Field.”
