Rays Should Take Advice From Jim Brown

Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown once said, “when you get to the end-zone act like you have been there before.” The Rays should take that advice. Before the first pitch of the ALCS the Rays have already printed shirts saying they have “conquered a dynasty” and taken down Red Sox Nation. Hat tip to Center Field for finding this.

Then there was the wager proposal for the ALCS that was shot down by Boston mayor Thomas Menino because he only bets on championship games.

The Rays don’t have a high payroll but they did overpay for champagne.
